Physician. Entrepreneur. Clinical researcher.
For over two decades, Dr. Adam Broncel has been working at the intersection of neurology and biomedical innovation, turning scientific discoveries into solutions that improve patients’ lives.
With a medical degree, a Ph.D. in neuromodulation, and international research experience in the USA and Europe, he has dedicated much of his career to exploring the power of vagus nerve stimulation. His research has been published in leading journals (Brain Research, PLOS, Neuroscience) and presented at major neurological congresses, from Helsinki to Amsterdam.
As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Biomed Innovation and Poland Ventures, building ecosystems that help international startups thrive. He has scaled ventures across borders, secured EU grants, and co-invented patents in neuromodulation. He also advises global initiatives and has represented Poland at MIT and other leading U.S. innovation hubs.
At Cogniguard, Dr. Adam Broncel serves as Chief Medical Officer and board member, leading our Polish branch. He designed and oversaw preclinical studies and the very first proof-of-concept trials of the Vguard method — and is now spearheading upcoming multicenter clinical trials in Europe and the U.S. His role bridges science, clinical development, and investor engagement, all with a single purpose: to bring breakthrough therapies for Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline to patients.
What motivates him most?
“The opportunity to turn scientific innovation into real solutions for devastating conditions like Alzheimer’s. Knowing that our work can change patients’ lives gives me purpose every single day.”
One achievement he’s especially proud of:
Leading the first human trials of the Vguard method, witnessing years of research come to life in patients, and seeing early signs of positive impact on memory and cognition.
